REGARDING REFUNDS ON GAMES PURCHASED ON DVD OR VHS video tape.
Soon there will be picture quality (PQ) ratings on most games listed on this site. Right now, you can see the PQ rating on only some of the games listed. Before you buy a game on DVD or VHS, feel free to email email@example.com and say "can I get a PQ rating please?".
I rate the picture quality of the games on a 1 to 5. A 5 being the best and a 1 being the worst. PQ ratings are broken out to 1.00, 1.25, 1.50, 1.75, 2.00, 2.25, 2.50, 2.75, 3.00, 3.25, 3.50, 3.75, 4.00, 4.25, 4.50, 4.75, and finally a perfect 5.00. If I have a PQ rating I will let you know what it is. You can choose to purchase or not purchase the game after receiving this information.
I can tell you if a game is rated a 3.75 or lower you will get a refund. Sometimes I will not know this until a game is ordered and I actually transfer, and look at, the game. In this case, if you buy a game, and I subsequently find out it is rated a 3.75 or lower, you get a refund less an "opportunity to view charge" of $7.50 per game.
So, if you get a game on 16mm film, and I transfer the film, and it looks really bad, like a 3.25 or something, you will be able to replace the game with another or get a refund which will be the total amount you paid, less the $7.50 opportunity to view charge and less any shipping and handling that may have been applied to an order. Soon games with PQ ratings lower than a 4.00 will be identified, and offered at a reduced price.
Also, soon games rated 4.50 and higher will be offered at a relatively higher price. Any shipping costs paid by SPARX will also not be refunded. Any Rush Orders charges fulfilled and paid by SPARX will also not be refunded.
Also, if you contact WDR to get a PQ rating on a game, and it is less than a 4.00, you still may want to get the game, and WDR may offer you a disounted rate in order to do so.
